I am an oil and pastel painter. I love still life, portraits and life drawing is a passion. I work and teach in the beautiful “Artist’s Town” of Kirkcudbright in Galloway, Scotland.
Like most artists I am attracted to the play of light. I work in Winsor and Newton Artisan, water mix able oils to avoid as many nasty chemicals as possible.

Hazel Campbell has lived and worked in Galloway for most of her adult life, has developed her own vigorous style of painting. She runs painting schools during the summer from her studio on the family farm.

Born in Finland, and now residing near Kirkcudbright, Urpu creates ceramic ‘sculptures’ mainly animals, birds and fishes. Her works are often humerous and a little tongue-in-cheek, and have proved popular, particularly in Kirkcudbright’s White House Gallery.

Painter. Born in Smithton, Tasmania, 1954, Jane has lived in Kirkcudbright since 1959 where she now has a studio which is open to the public. Artist in Residence to the Dorothy L Sayers Society, she is highly acclaimed for landscapes, portraits and other works in oil, watercolour and pastel, and for her Fine Art miniatures.

Self taught artist originally from the North East of England, whose job brought him to Kirkcudbright and he subsequently retired here. He has a lifelong love of art with a particular interest in water colour painting. His works are often to be seen in the Harbour Cottage Gallery and in the Tolbooth Art Centre.

Living in Auchencairn Trevor is one of the foremost creators of willow sculptures in the UK. Using traditional techniques combining beauty with functionality, Trevor has been weaving willow to great effect for over 30 years. He is best known for his giant willow sculptures which are a feature of the Wickerman Festival and other events.

An accomplished artist and one time resident of Kirkcudbright Angela now lives in a nearby village and has opened a Studio-Gallery in Castle Douglas. She works in all mediums and has a variety of styles.
