janeGibsonPainter. Born in Smithton, Tasmania, 1954, Jane has lived in Kirkcudbright since 1959 where she now has a studio which is open to the public. Artist in Residence to the Dorothy L Sayers Society, she is highly acclaimed for landscapes, portraits and other works in oil, watercolour and pastel, and for her Fine Art miniatures.

George Lawson

geoLawsonSelf taught artist originally from the North East of England, whose job brought him to Kirkcudbright and he subsequently retired here. He has a lifelong love of art with a particular interest in water colour painting. His works are often to be seen in the Harbour Cottage Gallery and in the Tolbooth Art Centre.

Trevor Leat

leatLiving in Auchencairn Trevor is one of the foremost creators of willow sculptures in the UK. Using traditional techniques combining beauty with functionality, Trevor has been weaving willow to great effect for over 30 years. He is best known for his giant willow sculptures which are a feature of the Wickerman Festival and other events.
