Due to stormy conditions, the Food Festival is being moved from the Harbour Square to KIRKCUDBRIGHT ACADEMY.
There will be no change to the programme, come along and join us !! There will be signage to direct visitors to the Academy !!
Kirkcudbright Summer Festivities are delighted to bring you our wonderful Food Festival 2017. Here in Kirkcudbright we are passionate about local producers whether they grown the raw product or create amazing food & drink using someone else’s local produce, we want to show case you the absolute best we can find.
We have a huge variety of award winning food & drink. Let your taste buds lead you round the town and experience the sights, smells and flavours our region has to offer and more. As well as the opportunity to buy and taste the amazing foods, there are demonstrations, talks, discussions and even debates about food, food innovation and more.

Vintage Fair selling huge array of clothes, collectables, bric a brac, books and lots of items fresh from the attic , garage and barn that haven’t seen the light of day in years.
Kirkcudbright Pre-School Group invites pre-school/primary children and their families to join them on a Halloween ghost hunt round Kirkcudbright High Street area on Tuesday 31st October between 5.30 – 7.00pm, starting at St. Andrew’s & St. Cuthbert’s Church Hall.
(Children must be accompanied by an adult.)
Entry fee is £5.00 per child (voluntary donation for adults) – includes trail map, entry into the fancy dress competition (via photo in the hall), small treat bag, various activities and prizes along the way. Fancy dress (not necessarily Halloween themed) is optional – prize for best costume. Wear appropriate seasonal outer clothing & sensible footwear – some areas may be muddy. BRING A TORCH! The trail will take place regardless of the weather – be prepared!
