Here you will find lots to do in our area. We list all kinds of events and activities, exhibitions, workshops and attractions and we are sure you will find something to suit everyone. The list isn’t exhaustive. It doesn’t detail all the things that are here all the time – the colourful streets, the attractive shops, the harbour, the beaches and the beautiful countryside around us they are all here waiting to be explored.

May 27th 2017 is the date for the 34th Kirkcudbright Academy Half Marathon!
There are three events to chose from:
- The Half Marathon (18yrs+) – start: 1pm
- The Beeches 11.2k (15yrs+) Run – start: 1pm
- The Walk (open to all ages ) follows the half marathon route – start: 11am
There is a also a Family Fun Run (1.5 miles) organised by Kirkcudbright Primary school – start 1.20pm

Broughton House Garden Scotland’s Gardens open evening, Thursday, 8th June 2017, 6pm to 9pm. Entry £4 includes refreshment.
The 20th Kirkcudbright Jazz Festival
